The Cool School 5K Trail Run/ Hike
The Race: On Sunday May 3rd Gladwin's "Cool School," along with "Race fast...live slow" is hosting a 5K trail run/ hike at the Gladwin County Recreation Area, aka "The Sportsmen's Club." ALL PROCEEDS from the event will go to the Gladwin Cool School.
The Course: Both the trail run and hike will be on trails thru the woods of the Gladwin County Recreation Area. Not a runner? No worries. Register for the "hiking" division, and just come out and enjoy the new trails out at the Sportsmen's Club.
Post-race events: After the race, all runners will be treated to snacks and drinks, and awards will be given to the top finishers of each division. We will also be holding a raffle. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the Gladwin County Trails Association who build and maintain the trails at the Sportsmen's Club. The raffle has some great items from local businesses.
Race fees: The entry fee is $20 per person, both pre-registration and day-of registration, however, those who register by April 24th will receive a free event t-shirt.
